Typical spreads are on the Standard account during liquid hours and can widen around news and at the daily rollover. Times are server time (GMT+3).
Swaps, rollovers and margin
Swaps
Positions held past 00:00 server time are charged or credited a swap based on the instrument, your direction and the interest rate difference. Rates are shown in the MT5 symbol specification and can change daily. Wednesday swaps are tripled to cover the weekend; for indices and commodities the triple day is Friday.
Rollovers
Commodity CFDs follow the front-month futures contract and move to the next contract before expiry. When this happens, open positions are adjusted by the price difference between the two contracts so your profit or loss is unchanged. Upcoming rollovers are listed on the Notices page.
Margin
Margin is the position value divided by the leverage for that instrument. If your margin level falls to [XX]%, you receive a margin call; at [XX]%, positions are closed starting with the largest loss. Margin requirements can be raised before major events and over weekends.
Dividends and corporate actions
Share and index positions open on an ex-dividend date receive a cash adjustment: long positions are credited and short positions are debited. Splits and other corporate actions are reflected in position size and price.
